Jessica Wilson, Costs Lawyer

Jessica graduated with a 2.1 Law Degree from the University of Lincoln in 2011 and started her career with A & M Bacon Limited in February 2012 as a Trainee Costs Lawyer. Jessica became a fully qualified Costs Lawyer in December 2015.

Jessica has experience in preparing complex high value Bills of Costs and Points of Dispute.  She also has experience in both civil and commercial litigation and has successfully defended challenges against the recoverability of After The Event Insurance Premiums, particularly Pollard v University Hospitals Of North Midlands NHS Trust [2017] 1 Costs LR 45 and is involved in the preparation of Costs Budgets. In addition, she also has large amount of experience in dealing with Litigants-in-Person, both in recovery and adverse matters.

Jessica is also an experienced Court of Protection specialist and has knowledge in preparing high value and complex Court of Protection Bills.  Jessica also assists clients by providing detailed advice prior to and following the assessment process to help her clients to ensure their recovery is maximised.
